Holy Spirit Athletics Information
The sports programs at Holy Spirit are offered in cooperation with the Diocesan
Recreation Association – Diocese of Columbus. At Holy Spirit the responsibility
of the athletic programs are run by The Men’s Club. The Men’s Club appoints the
Athletic Director as well as commissioners for each sport.
The overall objectives of the athletic program are to unite the youth of our
school and parish and to help promote their spiritual, physical and social
welfare by bringing Catholic truths, principles and ideals into their everyday
life.
The diocesan programs are designed to promote good sportsmanship, build
character, develop the individual person,
provide an atmosphere for caring, reflecting the importance of good teamwork,
provide enjoyment and make our young participants better people because of their
involvement in the Christian-influenced Diocesan Programs.
