In an atmosphere that strongly emphasizes Christian ideals, Holy
Spirit exists for the purpose of providing our Parish and community Catholic
education. This atmosphere integrates the Catholic message into an educational
curriculum that nurtures the gift of faith, promotes self-discipline and
responsibility to self and others. We strive to prepare each child to be a
responsible Christian citizen. The Faculty realizes that parents are the first
and most important teachers of their children and that they assist parents in
educating their children.
Boys and girls in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade are provided with a
challenging academic program which seeks to develop their intellectual and
artistic abilities, to raise their social consciousness, and to nurture their
physical and moral growth.
The Administration and Faculty seek to develop curricula, enhance teaching
skills, and evaluate techniques which coincide with current educational
ideology, and that meets the personal needs of the children entrusts needs of
the children entrusted to us. Personal excellence at each child's ability level
is our standard. The entire school community - students, parents, faculty,
staff, priests, school board, must cooperate to create a school environment
permeated with reverence for God, respect for others, dedication to truth, and
active compassion for human needs and weaknesses.
